Head Coach Jason Kilderry
Jason is a USA Level 1 triathlon and track and field certified coach as well as a National Strength and Conditioning Association strength and conditioning specialist. He holds a bachelor's degree in Health and Exercise Science from Rowan University and is currently pursuing two master's degrees in movement science and kinesiology. Jason is the owner of ETA Coach and is a member of the PhysFarm Coaching Consortium. He comes highly recommended by his athletes, many of whom have qualified for various championships or earned entry into races requiring qualification, including the Olympic Trials, Boston Marathon, the USA Triathlon National Championships, Half Ironman World Championships, various Ironman distance events, and the New Jersey High School Meet of Champions.

Welcome our new Assistant Coach Maya Hunnewell, who brings a different dimension to ETA Coach. As you'd expect, she is USA Triathlon certified, has extensive experience in triathlon specializing in long course, and her formal education is in a science-based field. But you might be surprised to learn she is a 4 time Ironman finisher and mother of 2 children under the age of 4, all in the last 7 years! Assistant Coach Matt Ciociola
Matt Ciociola ran three years of cross country and track at Bishop Eustace Prep School in Pennsauken, NJ. Matt was the typical high school runner, having no clue what he was doing and interested in the idea of training and getting faster. After high school, Matt competed at Rider University for four years. While at Rider, Matt majored in Chemistry and it was this foundation that applied to his interest in applying science to endurance training. read more »

Assistant Coach Scott Ward
Scott is a USAT and USATF level 1 certified coach with a BS from the University of Rhode Island and an MS from the University of Connecticut. Both of Scott's degrees are in environmental studies, and this background in science has given him the necessary skill set to critically decipher research and determine which coaching approaches are evidence-based. He began coaching triathletes in 2010 and has successfully coached his adult athletes to PRs at all triathlon distances, including the Ironman 70.3 World Championships and the Hawaii Ironman World Championships. read more »

Assistant coach Nick Desantis
Nick DeSantis has both a scientific engineering and teacher-coach background, which makes him a unique addition to the ETA coaching team. At Rowan University, Nick earned his bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and was also an Academic All-American Cross Country and Track athlete. During his experience at Rowan, Nick became close with his teammate and friend, Jason Kilderry. However, Nick and Jason are more than just college teammates. read more »

Christian Whipple is a 5th grade teacher who coaches middle school soccer and youth running club. He got his first taste for triathlon back in the early 80’s watching Dave Scott win in Hawaii on ABC's Wide World of Sports. After watching the televised event, he organized a neighborhood triathlon by instructing his brother and friends on how the race worked, from transitions to the three sports involved. read more »

Registered Dietitian Michelle Ulrich, MS, RD
Michelle is a Registered Dietitian with a Master of Nutritional Sciences and has a passion for food, nutrition and sports! Michelle started as a Rowan University Radio/TV/Film major, but re-routed her career to pursue her Master of Nutritional Sciences degree from San Diego State University. Michelle played college basketball and has subsequently transformed herself into a competitive endurance athlete. read more »

 

Coach Greg Wilkinson
Head Swim Coach Greg Wilkinson
Coach Greg was the primary assistant coach and group lesson instructor of the Pheasant Run Flyers from 2000 until 2009. He also swam for Pheasant Run starting at the age of five and continued his career to Moorestown High School and Towson University, specializing in the mid-distance freestyle events. During the day, Coach Greg teaches math at William Allen Middle School in Moorestown. read more »

 

Coach Lauren Stull
Swim Coach Lauren Stull
Lauren fell in love with the sport of swimming at the age of 5 and continued to swim competitively for the next 16 years. She swam year round as a member of G.C.I.T.'s USS swim team for 13 years and swam Tri-County for 13 summers on Wenonah swim team. She went on to compete all 4 years of high school for the combined Gateway/Woodbury varsity swim team where she was a state qualifier and team MVP. She was honored as a Colonial Conference all star, a Gloucester County all star, and made All-Division B first team during her high school career. read more »

Swim Coach Cole Gindhart
Cole Gindhart is an ETA athlete and undergraduate student studying electrical engineering at Drexel University. Cole began swimming at age 5 years and has continued to compete every year since. For Cole, swimming is not just a sport, but a way of life. He believes that swimming is not something that comes easily to people; rather, it requires a lot of dedication and hard work to essentially reprogram your body and learn to move smoothly and efficiently through water. read more »

Swim Coach Billy Auty
Billy Auty has been swimming competitively since the age of six. He is from Northeast Philadelphia and swam at Archbishop Ryan High School. After high school, Billy swam for Kutztown University and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education in 1996. Billy has had the opportunity to be an ocean lifeguard in New Jersey, Florida, and California, which has given him the chance to compete in open water events all over the country. Billy is currently a Lieutenant with the Philadelphia Fire Department. read more »
