ETA Coach was the brainchild of its founder, Jason Kilderry. Through his science-based training method, fighting Irish attitude, and love for teaching, Jason touched many lives. After coaching and owning ETA for 11 years, Jason was diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer in 2017. Jason’s attitude throughout his fight was positive and inspiring. Up until his last day, Jason continued to work hard for ETA and his athletes. Most importantly, he was an amazing and dedicated father to his young son, Finn. He passed away on December 18th, 2017 at the age of 35.

Coaching was not just a job for Jason, it was his passion. He spent his life seeking answers to questions that few people in the field were asking. He coined ETA’s slogan, “Think critically, question often, and train smart,” changing the way his athletes approached sport.

Jason’s life was nothing short of remarkable, and there are too many words to tell a short story. Below is an overview of Jason’s life as a son, brother, loyal friend, kidney recipient, father, and coach. We will always miss him and continue coaching in his honor.
